Chardonnay. We are very proud of our friends and former neighbors Pamela and Steve Storrs, who have won multiple awards for their fine wines. I have personally watched them work long and hard for years to build their beautiful vineyard and winery. The sustainable practices they have employed are a model for other wineries and they continue to lead the field. Their wines are a favorite of mine and many others.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI first met Pamela Storrs in the 90s when I watched in awe as she drove a forklift with her infant daughter in a front pack. I nearly backed into one of their large bins of grapes ready for harvesting in our shared parking lot at the Old Sash Mill! I drove one of those Volvo wagons that was like a tank. I'm just grateful the bin didn't collapse—after all, who wants to have a winemaker mad at you? I must have backed into those things a couple of times in my haste to pick up kids, always late.
