Modern Metropolitan Building wedding: Kat + Fran

Kat says, We didn’t have a theme, but a good word to describe the wedding would be “halo-halo,” it’s Tagalog and means “mix-together.” Our wedding was a convergence of everything important in our lives: friends and family came from around the world, we paid homage to our heritages, the DJ spun our favorite records, and there were nods to moments in our relationship peppered throughout the space. The wedding was eclectic, not by design, but because it had to be to represent us. It was a very colorful event, but I used a loose color palette of gold, pink, and blue throughout and our bridal party wore gold dresses and blue suits of their own choice.

A bright bouquet recipe: pink + peach garden roses, yellow, plum, and hot pin ranunculus, wine scabiosa, white chamomile flowers, bupleurum, purple straw flowers, white veronica, and lots of assorted greenery.
