Precious Metal Trim

The Annieglass 10" Edgey Dinner Plate, along with the Edgey Soup Bowl and Edgey Charger, is made from slightly thinner glass but retains all the impact of the sophisticated rawness of the broken edge from the beloved Edgey Collection.

With an edge of elegance that exudes luxury dinnerware, this glass dinner plate is also dishwasher safe, making it one of our favorite best everyday dishes that can also be dressed up for more formal dining occasions. A bridal registry favorite.

  • Size - 10"
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Chip-resistant
  • Handmade in California
  • Available for personalized engraving

We believe in the beauty of craft and the individuality of each American artisan who made it. Every brushstroke mark, variation and imperfection is typical and to be expected from our distinctive process of making Annieglass. No two pieces are ever alike, just like none of us are either.

Annieglass is durable, dishwasher safe, and chip-resistant (although not recommended for oven or microwave use). Colors and textures will vary due to our handmade process. To ensure authenticity, every piece is hand-engraved with our studio signature and dated.

If your piece features one of Annieglass’ most iconic designs: a hand-painted band of precious metal, this metal rim is permanently fused within the glass during Annie’s perfected kiln firing process. This metal rim will not chip or wear off.

Made to Use.

This is beautiful glass that is meant to be used and enjoyed. Ordered 10 place settings and they all arrived in perfect condition and now beautifully displayed. Put together the Ruffled Buffet Plate, Edgy Dinner Plate, and Roman Antique Deep Bowl to make my settings. Very pleased.

Thank you for the wonderful words and 5-star review! We love that you mixed and matched (as intended) our collections to create your very own unique place setting. May our pieces serve you well for many years to come!

The Art of Imperfection

WABI SABI

For those collections with a 24k gold or genuine platinum trim, our artisans’ individual brush strokes, as well as a slightly distressed appearance of the precious metal trims are testament to our handcrafted glassware process. These effects are by no means a defect, but rather are intentionally crafted into every unique Annieglass piece to celebrate the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi—in which asymmetry and “imperfection” enhance
