Plaid Giraffe

The Plaid Giraffe in Wichita, Kansas is a store you could spend hours in...I have! and still come back the next day and find something wonderful that you missed. Their customers are wonderful entertainers and home cooks who love tableware and interior design. They are well taken care of by the staff led by Nancy Taylor and Tonya Cox, creative and fun loving dynamos that spread warmth and cheer into every corner of the large store.

Walls of placemats, napkin rings, goblets, barware and Annieglass are lovingly displayed in imaginative vignettes. An in house florist takes care of every detail. Nancy and Tonya make house calls too. The jewelry selection can't be beat and the home furnishings throughout the store are always changing. Generosity is another reason customers flock to the store. I have designed an exclusive piece to benefit The Sedgewick County Zoo in Wichita every year since 2007. The zoo has hosted my family and I twice behind the scenes for tours of the gorilla enclosure. It was a never- to-be forgotten experience, particularly for my artist son Taylor whose signature design is of one.

Annieglass is well represented in this lovely environment as are many beautiful items for the home, table and self.
